My background, qualifications and experience:

I have a Higher Professional Diploma in Person-centred Counselling and have regularly attended a range of training courses since qualifying. My training course was BACP Accredited and I am also a BACP Accredited Counsellor.

I have experience in working with a range of clients and have witnessed changes in levels of confidence and happiness.

I have worked with a wide range of clients, adults, young people and children and have completed over 800 hours of counselling helping people suffering from troubling thoughts, anxiety, depression, loss of confidence and many other issues.

I am on the BACP register and am regularly supervised by an experienced BACP registered supervisor. I have worked for a bereavement agency for several years and also a charity providing counselling in schools and a charity providing counselling for carers. Alongside these I have developed my own private practice providing help on a range of issues.

I am very interested in the contributions recent advances in neuroscience and attachment theory can make to counselling practice.
