About me and the counselling I offer
I am an experienced BACP Accredited counsellor. I am trained to help you think things
Are you overwhelmed, experiencing stress, anxiety or depression or troubled by dark and unhelpful thoughts? Is life a struggle at the moment? Has your confidence taken a hit? Are you having trouble sleeping? Are you suffering following a bereavement?
I am well qualified and registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I have worked with a wide range of clients with many issues. I have attended and continue to attend training courses to update my knowledge and skills. I regularly meet with an experienced BACP supervisor for my professional development and the safety of clients.
I use 'Rogerian' person-centered counselling. This means that you, client, are always in control of the direction of the therapy. This way of working is safe, comfortable and highly effective.
I also make use of insights from CBT, mindfulness, attachment theory and existential therapies.
I provide a safe and confidential space where we can
explore and work through whatever issue you bring. You decide on the pace and the direction of the therapy. To find out more about 'Person Centered Counselling' take a look at the page shown on the menu on the left.
